1. Playa de las Dunas

You cannot say that you have visited Fuerteventura until you have leapt into the famous Dunes of Corralejo, one of the best-known spots on the island.

It stands out for its bright sand and intense aquamarine beaches, surrounded by dunes and with views of the beautiful Isla de Lobos.

2. Playa del Moro

One of the best beaches to visit when touring Fuerteventura is Playa del Moro, a small beach which is perfect for relaxing and getting away from the crowds.

3. Playa de El Cotillo

6. Playa del Jablito

El Jablito is a small town located to the north of the island of Fuerteventura. This fishing village is home to a beautiful beach, a diamond in the rough, peaceful and an excellent place to spend time since it is one of the best wind-free beaches on the island of Fuerteventura.

It is easily accessible by public transport, which will take you there from Puerto del Rosario, capital of the island of Fuerteventura, in just 10 minutes.

7. Playa Las Lajas

Las Lajas beach is located in a small town, three kilometres from the capital Puerto del Rosario. The beach has been awarded a blue flag and its unique subsoil is formed by stone and black sand that extends toward the sea.

The beach is 700 m long and very popular with the town’s residents and those living in the surrounding area. Here you can really relax, as it is a wind-free beach to enjoy with children, where you can sunbathe, swim and practise sports, especially kitesurfing, windsurfing, stand up paddle (SUP), surfing and sailing.

The beach is not very well known among tourists, but it is the ideal place for a family trip.

8. Playa de Costa Calma

Costa Calma beach is located in the town of the same name, to the south of Fuerteventura. This beach is less windy. It is two kilometres long and can be enjoyed from end to end. It is close to a fishing village, so it offers the bonus of also being a great place to enjoy some tasty fish.
